VicParks makes 41st conference seriously funny Service Awards honour Kel Arnott left and Neil Wolfenden |
The Victorian Caravan Parks Association 41st Annual Conference and Trade Display on August 22 and 23 at the Eastbank Centre, Welsford St Shepparton was serious fun.
The serious bits were taken seriously, but when it came to fun it was a hoot.
Under the magic influence of hypnotism people like mild-mannered Bryan Paul of Pie Networks WA became a rock god and Lorraine Golightly from Beacon Resort Holiday Park, Queenscliff put passion into her performance as she strutted her stuff as singer Madonna.
With the enthusiastic support of more than 200 VicParks members achievements were honored, but to put light into the fun side a disguised Master of Ceremonies Graeme Bowman became a hairy professor and kicked free camping issues and other sacred cows around the room.
Overall – “they had fun, fun, fun until Daddy took the T-bird away”.
