We rolled into Seymour today with two Coromal Excel caravans we are evaluating in tow and found a gem of a Top Tourist Park on the banks of the Goulburn River.
No prizes for guessing its name. Its Goulburn River Caravan Park on seven shady acres. It is a newcomer to the popular Top Tourist Parks of Australia chain and is not yet in their current directory which will be updated in December. So we want to share it with you all.
We are really getting into the Goulburn River despite the drought. Yesterday we headed up the Hume Hwy from Caravans West, Sunshine after we hooked up an Excel Economy Pop-top the Excel 541 to the new Captiva Diesel auto which has just joined our company vehicles.
We dropped a lightweight Excel Compac onto the 1985 Retro Tojo and hit Goulburn Valley Motor Village at Shepparton via the Hume and Goulburn Valley Hwy turn-off at Seymour for our first overnight.

The pet friendly Goulburn Valley Motor Village which is now being re-developed by new owners has drive-through sites an easy two hours from Melbourne.
Managers Mark and Linda Ryan have already up-graded Goulburn Valley Motor Villages cabins and facilities and Mark, who is ex-Army, is hooked into change.
So we went to KidsTown Adventure Playground after he told us that its just one of the attractions which link to Shepparton's Shared Path Network. Gee I wish I was a kid again!
