"I don't think times are tough for people who are prepared", Graeme Hellings said today from his Latrobe Valley, Victoria base.
"Caravan Parks are an industry which will get better, but right now I think too many caravan parks are under-utilised".
"Too many of the people involved in them or looking at being part of the industry are not prepared to handle essentials like marketing their product", he said.
Hellings credentials are his track record.
Park Lane, which is now among the best caravan parks in the Top Tourist Parks of Australia chain.
His successes with Mayfair Gardens Relocatable Homes Village and his new Green Acres Village development, all in Traralgon, underline the value of being well prepared.

The practical family took a big risk when Latrobe Valley fortunes were at an all time low as work dried up in the valley.
But they took a deep breath and started building for the future. Graeme who is a registered builder of relocatable homes says he believed it would work. The results are impressive.

"We found it very different and very diverse and we went into a steep learning curve".
