Paralleling the increasing demand for 'road recreation' in a climate of change, Jayco has released four new models in the 2009 fleet: the Sterling Caravan, Sterling Pop Top, Discovery Pop Top and Expanda HL Caravan.
Increasingly, holiday makers are seeking an alternative 'route' to overseas travel and now choose to explore the myriad attractions that an Australian vacation offers, Andrew Ryan Jayco Marketing Manager/Director said today.
'With decades of experience developing an insight into what RV enthusiasts need and want- coupled with a drive to be at the cutting edge of technological advances - Jayco's research and development division has unveiled a lineup that presents something for everyone', he said.
Jayco constantly strives to provide recreational vehicles which allow owners to explore new horizons without forgoing 'home' comforts, Andrew Ryan said.
'The new kids on the block feature innovative exterior design, a range of upholstery choices, hard lids for the Expanda, alternate layouts and greater options to suit the Recreational Vehicle lifestyle', he said.

'Both the Sterling and Discovery Pop Tops have evolved from a marriage of advanced technological and a willingness to listen to the end user', Andrew said.
'So much so that the pop up option has more space now for the family on the road with an extending double bed, microwave, four burner gas griller, three-way fridge, 12v rangehood, overhead cupboards and lift up bed with orthopedic slats featuring extra storage
The Sterling takes it a few steps further and incorporates an LCD TV, DVD/CD/MP3 player, 3-way 110 litre fridge and 4-burner oven for starters, he said.
"It also has deeper overhead cupboards and, for a great night's sleep every night, inner-spring mattresses".
"The Jayco Sterling Caravan is hugely popular with fun lovers", he said.
"This 5 star on wheels has superior design and construction, while the generous cupboard space and living area makes the Sterling Caravan the flagship of Jayco's fleet", Andrew Ryan said.
"The Expanda HL Caravan, meanwhile, adds a 'hard lid' to the flexibility of expandability".
"The Expanda is the perfect choice for those families who like to take off whenever the opportunity arises - just hook up and go, while the new model lifts the (hard) lid on floorplans, construction, furniture and upholstery", he said.
"And this is just the tip of the iceberg with Jayco set to release new models throughout 2009".

GoSee has added a 2009 Sterling and 16ft Discovery to our company Recreational Vehicles.
The Sterling 23 went straight to work after Andrew Ryan handed the caravan over to GoSee MD Graham Wallace. It was used as the test bed for an Info Article on Touring Tasmania and towing through Melbourne.
The 16ft Discovery also went straight from the Jayco Factory in Dandenong South. Like the Sterling it went from Jayco to nearby Hayman Reese for a full Weight Distribution hitch fit-out.
Then GoSee towed to the Caravan Park Buyers Seminar at Park Lane Tourist Park, Traralgon. After the seminar GoSee headed for Glen Cromie Caravan Park near Drouin.
We were the first caravan in the caravan park since the Black Saturday bushfires. Glen Cromie has now re-opened in an amazing comeback from near disaster.
GoSee towed to our southern office at Bonbeach on Port Phillip Bay and after a short overnight catch-up went to Westernport Marina at Hastings on Westernport Bay to check GoSee yacht Silvergull in her berth at the marina.
There is plenty of room in the big marina carpark so the Discovery became shore base. We travel with a Dream-Pot and Shuttle Chef thermal cookers which provide hot meals when they are needed. GoSee also uses the Cobb Cooker which is brilliant for roasts and smoked fish.
We use dampened hickory wood chips to produce wonderful smoked flavours.
GoSee also uses a Thetford 335 Porta Potti in the Discovery which seems to have been made to measure.
We are also looking at the Porta Potti 365. This bigger eco-responsible thetford product provides in port comfort aboard Silvergull. Thetford has excellent eco-responsible additives to support the 335 and 365. GoSee plans to post a full evalution of the Thetford products in the week after Easter.
