3-day Traralgon caravan opening offers open access to expert caravanning experience and hi-tech towing equipment

Today, tomorrow and Sunday (Dec. 4,5&6) Traralgon Caravan Sales will put practical experience where it can do most good for people who want to get into the caravan touring and holiday scene.
The three-day grand opening of the new Recreational Vehicle business at 5527 Princes Highway will include Hayman Reese experts to advise on towing aids like setting up a Weight Distribution Hitch and Friction Sway Control.
The new Hayman Reese Trailer Ball Weight Scale, which takes guesswork out of setting up for safe towing, will be demonstrated.
Tow-Ed, CCIA of NSW Trade Business of the Year award winner, will be represented too to assist with getting the best, safely from caravanning. Tow-Ed, of Prospect NSW, is the Best Product or Service Provider for 2009 in NSW.
Tow Ed was named winner by the Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) in July.

Tow-Ed says towing involves several key competencies. Tow-Ed says the main focus of towing training includes - safety and maintenance checks.
The legal aspects of towing are also covered plus trailer dimensions, loads and loading, types of hitches, driving and manoeuvring techniques, braking techniques, reversing, launching and recovery of boats (if applicable).
Vehicle and trailer pre and post trip inspections is built into the definitive course.
Tow-Ed and Getabout courses are designed to build confidence and skills with lots of practice.
This fits with the Traralgon Caravan Sales team who are about doing the right thing with responsible sales, correct caravan towing setup, and advice on suitable tow vehicles. They will also assist with caravan floor-plan design.

Trent Bishop of Traralgon Caravan Sales said holiday give-aways would be part of the three-day Grand Opening session. Traralgon Caravan Sales handles Crusader, Regal and Olympic caravans and Bulloak camper trailers. The range on show includes dual-axle, single axle, off-road and family designs.

Alan and Pam from GoSeeAustralia.com.au will be at the Traralgon Caravan Sales Grand Opening on Saturday afternoon and all day on Sunday with the GoSee diesel automatic Captiva.
