For new Goseers or for any GoSeers in doubt about their towing safety here is how to use the free TravelSmart Club MemberTowing Compatibility Test based on data supplied by GoSeeAustralia sponsor Hayman Reese.
From the top -
Join the free GoSee TravelSmart Club 14th option button down on the left of the GoSee Home Page.
Click TravelSmart Good Stuff 14th option down on the left of the GoSee Home Page and then follow the prompts to - Click here to join the GoSee TravelSmart Club.
An email from GoSee to your PC will confirm your membership and confirm your User Name and Password.

You are a TravelSmart Club member so go to GoSee Home Page.
14th Option button down on left TravelSmart Good Stuff - click.
3rd option down Compatability test - click.
Enter your TravelSmart Club member login and password for the GoSee TravelSmart Club click enter.
The Check Trailer to Vehicle Compatability page will open.
Choose your vehicle make.
Choose your model.
Scroll down.
Choose your specific model.
Your tow vehicle towing capacity will appear in blue.
In the trailer details - enter caravan tare weight (unladen).
In maximum load box enter the weight you will load into the caravan.
For example 200kg.
Scroll down.
Ist box - Enter caravan unladen tare weight.(eg:1303kg).
2nd box - Enter caravan maximum load (eg: 200kg)

3rd box - Enter Actual Unladen caravan ball weight.(eg: 100kg).
These eg number are typical of the GoSee Jayco 16.52 Discovery pop-top caravan being towed by our LX Holden Captiva 4 door wagon. The numbers also apply to the CX, SX Captiva models. Jayco is one of GoSeeAustralia's major sponsors.
(Do not confuse Actual Unladen caravan ball weight with the Maximum Towbar ball weight capacity. This can be seen on any quality towbar product).
You caravan maker will have supplied/should have supplied Maximum Unladen caravan ball weight in your caravan handbook or it should be stamped on your caravans compliance plate.
Click generate report.
The Towing Compatability Report will give a Recommended or a Caution.
