Caravan, RV and camping industry showcase best at NSW Awards of Excellence

More than 250 guests attended the annual Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) Awards of Excellence Gala Dinner at The Sheraton on The Park in Sydney on July 28 to recognise caravan, RV and camping businesses for industry excellence across 24 categories.
Barry Baillie, CEO of the CCIA said that the CCIA Awards of Excellence is a prestigious annual event for the industry which recognises caravan and holiday parks, manufactured home villages and estate, caravan and RV manufacturers and dealers as well as industry suppliers for business excellence.
“The Awards of Excellence is the industry’s highlight event which recognises business excellence in the caravan and camping sector and is the highest accolade that a caravan, RV or camping business can achieve.”
In addition to Awards of Excellence, 27 Gumnut Awards were presented to park and trade businesses who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to environmental sustainability.
The CCIA Awards of Excellence had a ‘Rum Rebellion’ theme which marked the 200th anniversary of the appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Lachlan Macquarie as Governor of New South Wales.
The CCIA Awards of Excellence was the finale to a two-day conference (27-28 July) titled “Responding to the Market” at the Sheraton on the Park Grand Ballroom in Sydney.
