Australia’s premier spring festival Floriade runs from 11 September to 10 October with over a million stunning blooms.
Floriade has inspired garden bed designs; artistic entertainment; engaging exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops. Enjoy family time there are fun kids’ activities. This year some new and exciting events and activities will make Floriade the springtime escape.

NightFest adds zest to after-dark ACT
The daytime festivities of Floriade spill into the night with five nights of fun and enchantment during Floriade NightFest.
From 22 until 26 September, Commonwealth Park will be transformed into an illuminated wonderland of beautiful blooms, spectacular lighting, outdoor films, comedy, acrobatics, food wine and cocktails and bustling night markets.
The 35 metre ferris wheel provides evening views. Skills and the mind can be tested at the Shell Questacon Science Circus exhibition. Garnier World is a living, breathing beauty paradise which pampers with complimentary treatments.
The Butterfly Lounge serves up cocktails and groovy tunes and laughs from the Carnival Stage. Children get special attention with side-splitting comedy and amazing acrobatics by the Gigalees Crazy Circus Show at the Floriade Kid’s Corner.

Da Vinci Machines put genius into gear
The incredible inventions of Leonardo da Vinci are brought to life at this ticketed event, which opens during Floriade and runs until 14 November.
The exhibition features more than 60 machines based on the original drawings of Leonardo da Vinci, including his amazing flying machines, nautical, hydraulic and architectural innovations and war machines.
Exhibition ticket holders who attend Floriade NightFest will be offered exclusive guided night tours of the Da Vinci Machines Exhibition.
