5th Melbourne Leisurefest shows latest in camping, caravanning, boating, fishing, 4WD

Visitors to the Melbourne Leisurefest at Sandown Racecourse from Thursday October 4 to Sunday October 7 can win prizes worth more than $11,000 by picking up a passport at the ticket box and clipping the passport form at the marked checkpoints around the show.
The prizes include a Quintrix 400 Dart tinnie on a Dunbier Sports trailer with a Suzuki DT15S outboard motor valued at $7,500, a 4x4 package from ARB, which includes a 12-volt compressor, premium recovery kit, drive light set, tyre repair kit, gauge and hose valued at $1,850, a CF-35 AC VERB fridge from Dometic valued at $949, and an Anaconda Spinifex Franklin family tent and Dune Outback Swag valued at $928.
The 5th Annual Melbourne Leisurefest is jointly organised by the Caravan Industry of Victoria (CIA), the Boating Industry Association of Victoria (BIA) and the Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (VACC). This annual event brings together the latest from the camping, caravanning, boating, fishing and 4x4 driving worlds

The Melbourne Leisurefest is not just for the big kids; there will also be free rides to keep the children entertained on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Getting to the show is easy by car or public transport. There's plenty of free car parking space available at Sandown Racecourse, which can be entered from the Princes Highway and/or for easy access to the show, travel by train and alight at Sandown Park Railway Station, which is right next door.
Entry is $15 for adults, with pensioners and senior's cardholders able to enter for $10, and children under 15 are free when accompanied by an adult.
