Rosehill Caravan, Camping, RV and Holiday Supershow evolves to present industry excellence at great family day out
Starcraft another winner
The Caravan, Camping, RV and Holiday Supershow from this Saturday, 20 April until Sunday 28 April at Sydney's Rosehill Racecourse suits all holiday styles and budgets .
President of the Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) Theo Whitmont, says: “With over 300 exhibitors, the Supershow allows visitors to research, compare and buy the latest that the caravan and camping industry has to offer. From tents that sleep two or 10, to on and off-road camper trailers, caravans that can fit the whole family, five star luxury motorhomes, to thousands of gizmos and gadgets and the best holiday destination ideas all in the one place.”
“The CCIA NSW has been running the Supershow for 30 years this year. Over this time the show has evolved. It not only has the latest caravan and camping products but it is also a great day out for the entire family. There is live music, an array of dining options, free entertainment for the kids including jumping castles, a face painting fairy and baby animal zoo.
Lyndel Gray new CEO CCIANSW
Lyndel Gray, CEO of the CCIA anticipates that crowd numbers will reach as high as 80,000 over the nine days. It is a big call. If it is achieved it will certainly help in an Australian Supershow season which has had to contend with an extended run of particularly hot weather in Adelaide and Melbourne.
The Adelaide show hit 39 deg days and Melbourne, which has reached capacity with the number of exhibitors at Caulfield Racecourse, got more of the same.
“Visitors are attracted to the Supershow for a variety of reasons, from booking their next holiday, to upgrading their equipment or seeking advice from industry experts,” Ms Gray said.
The CCIANSW has a top-flight destinational marketer in its new Chief Executive Officer.
She took up the CCIANSW role in July 2012.
Lyndel Gray played an integral role in the transition of Tourism NSW to Destination New South Wales, and has held the role of Executive Director, Tourism. Lyndel Gray led Tourism NSW from 2008-2011, consolidating the State’s position as Australia’s top tourism destination, delivering significant growth in market share for holiday visitor numbers, nights and expenditure in both domestic and international markets.
Here are industry friends old and new who will be exhibiting at Rosehill:

The current line up of Bailey Australia Caravan models the Orion, Pegasus and Unicorn all feature the Alu-Tech body shell design. The Bailey development team has produced a construction system that is so unique that it has necessitated the commissioning of over 100 bespoke tools to build it and that features a design said to be so advanced that it has five new patents pending.
The result, Bailey says, is the first all-weather, all terrain touring caravan. Bailey says it is more robust and durable than conventional caravan but lighter at the same time. Caravans come with a 10 year body shell integrity guarantee.
The Alu-Tech design brief was to develop a construction system which produces a caravan that is more weather proof. Warm and dry. More robust. More durable. More aerodynamic and inherently more stable. But all this without a weight penalty. Panel thickness is sides 37mm, ceiling 37mm and floor 44mm, Bailey says.
This means the touring caravan has structural support supplied by external framework.
Five part panels as opposed to nine part panel assembly system.
Panels made using superior bead application laminating technology for a stronger more consisten bond.
Panels cloaked in a single sheet of impact resistant 3000 Series aluminium skin.
Integral bonded windows and exterior service doors provide additional structural support.
Impact resistant paint protection film applied to caravan lower front.

Allan and Lindi Rush of Thermal Cookware have an interesting new recipe cookbook called Freedom with Flavor which has GoSee ready to rock with the Shuttle Chef thermal cooker which is part of the GoSeeAustralia travelling kit.
The cookbook is free with all new Shuttle Chef purchases.
There is a Vegetarian and Sides series of recipes. Beans and Pulses includes a chickpea and potato Curry For the traditional diners Spiced Beef should be experienced. Allan and Lindi had an example they had 'prepared earlier' when GoSee spoke with them . In a word it was - memorable.
The Shuttle Chef,is a slow cooker that consists of a stainless steel inner pot and an outer vacuum insulated pot, manufactured for maximum insulation.
And it’s so easy to use – assemble your ingredients in the inner pot and heat it up on your stove.
When your meal comes to the boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes, then turn off the heat, put the inner pot into the outer container and close the lid.
The heat in the pot is retained, and slowly cooks your meal for hours, ensuring that those lamb shanks and tasty chops are super moist and tender. You don’t even need to keep checking it while it’s cooking. And it will stay hot for up to eight hours.
With this method, you save on energy as the meal is on the stove for such a short period of time.
And, as the food cooks in its own juices, you are not going to be throwing away all the goodness.
The slow gentle simmering ensures that vegetables retain their shape.
You will also save on the washing up because there won’t be an excess of saucepans, fry pans or serving dishes to clean up.
With the Shuttle Chef, you can spend a few minutes in the morning putting a meal together, and it will be ready and waiting for you that evening. It will even sit in your caravan and cook while you are travelling to your next destination, leaving you free to enjoy your holiday even more.
