We are a Family owned & operated park, on the New England Highway, mid way between Brisbane and Sydney in the beautiful New England Region of NSW.
Situated just a few minutes south of Armidale & 1 hour north of Tamworth, Uralla is an unspoilt thriving town with all the amenities but none of the negatives of bigger centres. With mild summer temperatures & a cool but clear winter climate, we are fortunate to enjoy a distinct four seasons with spectacular spring & autumn colours.
The park is easily accessed from the New England Highway with drive through sites for the caravanner & parking beside the cabin for guests. A number of sites are equipped with their own ensuite facilities, something appreciated by travellers in winter in Uralla when the overnight frost can be quite heavy. Two steps at midnight is better than twenty two to the amenities building.
We have a number of 2 bedroom cabins, with reverse cycle airconditioning for your comfort in all seasons and these are fully self contained, all you need bring are your toiletries and your food. For the budget conscious we have 2 studio cabins with a double bed and cooking facilities including a cooktop and microwave and across the path from the amenities building.
Two spotless amenities blocks take care of those needs & the enclosed camp kitchen is available for use by guests. A laundry, equipped with coin operated washing machines & dryers is open between 8.00am & 7.00pm for guests & other travellers.
From the Country Road Caravan Park, the visitors have easy access to local museums, foundries, antique shops, specialist shops, coffee shops and eateries, the stunning scenery of the high country, including waterfalls and gorges, magnificent historic buildings & structures in town & the surrounds.
You are assured of a warm friendly welcome from Tony & Anne when you stop for either a night or an extended period.
