Broadwater Stopover Tourist Park is set in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia with never ending lush green grass, located 25kms south of Ballina and a 40 minute scenic drive to Byron Bay.
Broadwater is a small settlement situated on the Richmond River in a sub-tropical paradise, 5 minutes to pristine unspoilt surf beaches and rainforests which makes an ideal base for all water sports, scenic drives, bushwalking, and bird watching. It is also centrally located to many excellent tourist destinations.
Situated next to the Koala Sanctuary in Broadwater, the Stopover Tourist Park is often referred to as having a truly welcoming friendly atmosphere and is a very clean and picturesque park.
Our accommodation options include shady grass or concrete sites (some drive-through), together with a range of very comfortable cabins, some with ensuites. All linen and bedding is provided at no extra cost.
Our immaculate amenities block includes disabled facilities, and is sure to please.
Here are some suggestions on how to make the most of your holiday:

- The local boat ramp is 2 minutes drive to put your boat in
- Enjoy Fishing, Water Skiing, Canoeing / Kayaking
- Visit Evans Head, famous for it’s fishing and prawning industry
- Enjoy dining at the Commercial Hotel or Bowls Club,
- Explore the many cafes and shops in the nearby villages
- Visit Amaze ‘n’ Place in Alstonville, great fun for the kids,
- House with No Steps is fun for the whole family
- We are happy to help with more suggestions!
Feel free even just to drop in and pick up tourist brochures and meet Bart and Tina Mckew, the onsite owner operators. The Mckew family moved here in October 2009 and fell head over heels with the area, its beauty and the friendly locals and are more than happy to help in any way they can.
PETS are WELCOME too! An off leash beach nearby and lovely walking tracks that back onto the tourist park makes a great holiday for your furry friends too, however strict conditions apply. There is even a dog bath if you are going somewhere special.
We look forward to making your next holiday a truly wonderful experience, so book with us soon! Please mention you found us on the GoSeeAustralia.com.au website when you call!
