Junee is a Historic Railway Town situated on the Olympic Highway halfway between Sydney and Melbourne. Junee is also an alternative route from Melbourne to Queensland (the quieter alternative), therefore an ideal stopover no matter which way you travel in Eastern Australia.

Junee Tourist Park's lakeside location is set out on 3 acres of lush green grass in a very quiet, inviting part of Junee.

We offer Junee accommodation to suit all budgets, from our air-conditioned ensuite cabins to our grassy powered sites, some of which are drive thru. Large rigs are welcome!

Our facilities at Junee Tourist Park offer something for everyone, with our pristine pool, undercover BBQ area, Bird aviary and playground for the children, and plenty of space to spread out.

Junee and nearby attractions and things to see and do include:

  • Junee Junction Recreation & Aquatic Centre
  • Junee Licorice and Chocolate Factory
  • Junee Roundhouse Museum
  • Broadway Museum
  • Monte Cristo Homestead
  • Bethungra Rail Spiral
  • Illabo Clock Museum
  • Junee Visitor Information Centre
  • Junee Golf Club
  • Kaybunda Lavender Farm
  • Houlaghans Valley Vinyard
  • Bethungra Dam and Reserve
  • Excellent Restaurants and cafes to try

Junee is surrounded by the Shires of Coolamon, Temora, Cootamundra, Gundagai, and the City of Wagga Wagga and is ideally located to use as your base for visiting the region.

It's south eastern edge is framed by the banks of the Murrumbidgee River while the remaining undulating, fertile pastoral cultivated country is broken only by the small villages of Illabo, Bethungra, Wantabadgery and Old Junee.
