This National Park bush setting, with its native birds, bandicoots, tawny frogmouths, lace monitlizards other wildlife, along with soaring gum trees a combination of beautiful native flora is the setting fthe closest eco friendly tourist park to the city of Sydney, only 10kms from the CBD.
Situated in the tranquil surroundings of the Lane Cove National Park, Lane Cove River Tourist Park provides a variety of fully serviced cabins, caravan sites, campervan and tent sites.
Staying at the Lane Cove River Tourist Park is all about choice. When you are not relaxing in the beautiful surroundings, you can take a dip in the pool, cook up a barbeque, watch some TV or surf the net in the recreation room. And the kids can enjoy riding their bikes around while exploring the Park.
If you are feeling adventurous, take the nature walk down to the Lane Cove River discover the great attractions it has to offer.
What to do? You can hire a rowboat and paddle along the tranquil Lane Cove River (weekends only), mountain bike through 40kms of natural bushland trails (BYO hire from us), simply relax at a picnic barbeque site. Theres the Kukundi Wildlife Shelter finjured animals, a playground for the kids, welcome refreshments at the riverside cafe and a number of historic cottages throughout this wonderful riverside park.
Our Environment The Lane Cove River Tourist Park runs its main office on solar power, and is implementing solar power throughout the entire park. We have water wised 3 of our four amenities blocks and will be harvesting water from rain stormwater in the next 2 years. As part of the National Park, Lane Cove River Tourist Park is very environmentally conscious. All care is taken to correctly recycle, nurture the wildlife promote the regeneration of native bushland throughout. Every dollar earned by the Tourist Park goes back into the environment, solar water conservation.
