We wish to invite you to stay at our park in Charters Towers, the Dalrymple Tourist Van Park. You’ll find us on the northern entrance to town, on the Lynd Highway yet only 1.8 kilometres north of the Information Centre city centre. As you may have to pass other caravan parks to get to us, we will go the extra mile fyou ensure your stay is comfortable enjoyable.
We have all of the features you have a right to expect- spotlessly clean amenities, ensuited fully self contained cabins, grass slab powered sites- some ensuites, large grassed camping area, sparkling saltwater pool with wading area, jumping pillow fkids of all ages, covered camp kitchen BBQs, dump point, kiosk plenty of room flarge rigs.
If you need to keep in touch with home let friends know about your holiday, we offer wireless broadband access throughout the park, an internet kiosk accessible 24 hours a day fax photcopying facilities. We have a public phone on site your mobile will work here too.
Even after we’ve got all that right, we want to do more so we organise social events throughout the winter season, including Devonshire teas evening campfires BBQs, where you can sit around yarn to your heart’s content. Watch the birds in our aviary if you’re a pet owner, we welcome your pet.
Charters Towers Golf Course is right next doand we hire golf equipment- including golf buggies. To relieve those muscles after a brisk walk a long drive, we have the only sauna in Charters Towers. It’s wood-fired cedar lined- it’s the easiest way of working up a sweat that we know of!
