August Moon Caravan Park is set in 10 acres of Tropical Oasis just 4 min south of Innisfail and The Gateway to the Atherton Tablelands.
Our peaceful, friendly park is the ideal base for exploring the Tablelands, Cairns and Mission Beach.
August Moon Caravan Park has taken on a new image after suffering almost a total loss by Cyclone Larry on the 20 March 2006, it has taken us several months and many long hours, but we think you will be pleasantly surprised when you come to stay with us.
Our new park cabin section has a selection of standard, deluxe and superior deluxe ensuite cabins for you to choose from, and we also have non ensuite deluxe cabins at a budget price.
We have larger than average shady drive thru sites, sites that can accommodate buses and large rigs 20 metres plus.
Innisfail is centrally located in a marvelous sight seeing area. While staying at August Moon Caravan Park take the time to explore some of the areas beautiful attractions - all within easy traveling distance.

Local fishing is great - You can fish from the river, wharf or beach.
Warrina Lakes
There is plenty to do within an hour's drive, including Mission Beach, "The Atherton Tablelands" and Cairns.
Take a Cruise from Mission Beach and enjoy our beautiful reef, view the reef fish and coral through the glass bottom boat or take the guided snorkeling tour. Enjoy a gourmet BBQ lunch with tropical fruit platter. For the more adventurous spend some time diving with a qualified dive guide.
Take a day trip to beautiful Dunk Island and explore the Rainforest and Secluded beaches, dine at BB's on the beach or be pampered at the Spa of Peace and Plenty. There are 13 kirns of walking tracks ranging from 30 mins to 4 hours, you can hire Sailing boats, paddle skis, play golf or go Horse riding.
Visit the Nerada Tea Estates, Take a day trip to the Boulders, Drive to Josephine Falls and take in the beauty of rainforest and Queensland's highest mountain, the majestic Mt Bartle Frere, feeling energetic follow the walking track to the top.
