Pelican Rest Tourist Park is an easy walk from town and you can simply stroll around the grounds to observe the birds, trees, flowers, and occasionally, native animals.
Enjoy the attractions of St George including The Unique Egg, Riversands Vineyards, Pilot’s Memorial, River Walk, Murals, Beardmore Dam, Sandytown River Cruises, Nindigully Pub fishing in the Balonne River. Steve & Lorraine can provide advice for those seeking information about the St George district, events, people and history.
Our ensuite cabins (two have spa baths) feature R/C air-conditioning and all the mod cons necessary to ensure a comfortable stay. Spa cabins have double bed and sleepa sofa, while ensuites have double bed and 2 bunks (all 4 star rated).
Multi-Unit accommodation is ideal for those traveling on a budget or staying in St George long term. These units have 2 single beds, air-conditioning, TV and cooking facilities. Relax on the patio with friends for an evening chat and nibbles. Units are sited close to the amenities block.
Feel free to check out the van sites at the Pelican Rest Tourist Park. The adage NO RIG TOO BIG is no idle boast. With 14 drive thru’s and 22m x 6m 12 double sites allowing 26m length, you’re assured of a spacious site. Other powered sites are 13m x 10m and are bordered by trees shrubs on 3 sides.
The ultra modern amenities block includes special needs facilities and laundromat. The bathrooms are well appointed with spacious cubicles and quality fittings.
