Island View Caravan Park is situated on the esplanade looking at the water, 13kms south of Yeppoon, 6 kms north of Emu Park and approximately 30 minutes from Rockhampton. We have easy beach access adjacent to our park. The beach is a dog friendly beach, as is our park. (Pet conditions apply)
With its own wildlife, including peacocks, bush turkeys and the occassional visit from an emu two, Island View Caravan Parkis far enough out of town to enjoy the peace tranquility of the bush, yet still be handy to excellent shopping facilities, tourist attractions and delightful picnic areas. Popular restaurants, hotels and clubs are also conveniently located a short drive away.
Our beautiful sandy beach, where the Pacific Ocean caresses the Capricorn Coast here at Kinka, lends itself to good fishing, water sports, long walks and other beach activities.
Relax enjoy the friendly family atmosphere in 5 acres of shady beachfront park overlooking Great Keppel Island with a variety of excellent accommodation options to suit every budget. We now have 2 bedroom 4.5 star Seaview Chalets to offer to our guests.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the bush still be handy to tourist attractions, picnic areas, good fishing, water sports, shopping facilities, restaurants, hotels and clubs. UHF TV cable connection is available.
Take the 6km drive to Rosslyn Bay Marina for a coffee or to embark on a cruise. Cruise bookings available at our reception.
