CARAVAN PARK CATEGORY
Normanville is situated 5km from Yankalilla and 75 km south of Adelaide in the southern part of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The southern expressway makes it a short scenic trip to Jetty Caravan Park. We are just 30km from the Kangaroo Island Ferry which makes us an ideal stop for the early trip.
Jetty Caravan Park is situated on the beach, surrounded by sand dunes, the sea and the hills. The park offers different types of accommodation for those on a budget, or those who would like a nice romantic getaway watching the fantastic sunset and sea.
We have 4 modern budget rooms for up to 20 people. The guests can use the modern camp kitchen with a large open fire for those cold winter days. We have both 2 bedroom villas and 2 bedroom ensuite cabins. These villas/cabins sleep up to 5 people. They are fully self-contained and only your bedding is required.
Our fantastic grassed powered sites can accommodate most size vans. We also have ensuite sites, which are becoming very popular.
Normanville and surrounding attractions and things to see and do include:
- River and Beach fishing for garfish, mullet, and Tommy ruff
- Safe swimming beach with expanses of white sand, and a charming beachside cafe and store
- Stunning marine life, including the much-loved Leafy Sea dragon
- Excellent Dive sites
- Visit Kangaroo Island
- McLaren Vale wine region
- Studio 13 Gallery displays artworks by contemporary artist/painter in residence George Tetlow
- Country Markets
- Excellent cafes and restaursants to try
You can walk to the township. There you can wine and dine or just have a coffee in the many cafés on the main street.
Why not visit all the scenic places all within 30 km from Normanville. See the wind farm, take the ferry to Kangaroo Island, visit the old boat sheds at Second Valley, Glacier Rock and the old Horse Drawn Carriage at Victor Harbor.
Stay the day or stay the week, you will never run out of things to do in Normanville!
