The Captain James Cook Memorial Caravan Park offers a variety of accommodation options at Adventure Bay on Bruny Island.

The park offers excellent accommodation options for singles, couples and families. Included are very comfy 1 or 2 bedroom self contained villas and cabins with linen provided, on site caravans with or without unit attached for the budget conscious, together with spacious powered and unpowered sites for caravanners and campers.


Captain James Cook Memorial Caravan Park is situated right across the road from the Adventure Bay Beach and 100m from the Adventure Bay General Store.

Adventure Bay Beach is the most popular swimming beach on the island and the township is home to a range of activities and attractions including:

  • Walks offer stunning views

    Bruny Island Cruises is 1km along the road and offers cruises along the coastline of the South Bruny National Park including hundreds of seals in their natural habitat. Ol'Kid Fishing Charters also depart daily for a unique fishing experience.

    Accommodation at the Captain James Cook Memorial Caravan Park includes full use of our facilities including numerous BBQ sites. Inclement weather is no problem as there are several wet weather shelters scattered around the park for the use of visitors.
