Bush camping with modern facilities, that is what new resident owners Rohan and Josephina McDonald have been working on since they bought the park on 23 March 2012.

The park, renamed Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park, next to Lake Bellfield, is the only park situated off the main road in a gorgeous bush setting yet only 3.5 km from Halls Gap and only 1 km from Brambuk Cultural Centre. It is world renowned for its stunning setting, Australian Wildlife and birds.
Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park, is in close reach to famous hikes (Pinnacle & MacKenzie falls), but also close to many lakes, wineries, zoo, mini golf, restaurants and café’s. Campfires are allowed and the open log fire in the camp lounge will be lit for you every night.
Our Grampians Halls Gap accommodation options include our beautiful new Deluxe Spa Cabins, Couples and Family Cabins, together with spacious Powered and Unpowered Sites. All our accommodation options offer fabulous views!
Rohan has been able to heat the outdoor pool with the wood fired furnace which maintains the temperature around 32 degrees. For the little ones, spring free trampolines were installed mid-September; the safest trampoline in the world! People comment on the very welcoming, friendly and cosy atmosphere.
Rohan is preparing the park to be at its peak by spring while Josephina has introduced her shop www.finika.com.au at the reception and is serving delicious latte's for you coffee lovers!
But this is not all!
Rohan and Josephina have been working extremely hard on a full transformation and upgrade of the park. New reception, manager’s residence and amenities have been put into place and brand new modern deluxe cabins have been purchased! The new amenities block has individual bathrooms for your convenience and privacy.

Local attractions and things to see and do include:
- Abseiling, horse riding, canoeing, fishing, rock climbing, ballooning and mountain biking
- Bush walking - pick from a large network of trails, including Venus Baths, Boronia Peak, Chatauqua, Hollow Mountain, Grand Canyon and the Wonderland Ranges
- Brambuk Cultural Centre - join a tour of the many ancient rock art sites in the area
- Visit Reeds Lookout, the Balconies, Boroka Lookout, MacKenzie Falls and the Zumstein picnic ground
- Take the Grampians scenic road through the ranges, past Mount Abrupt to the quiet little town of Dunkeld
- Lake Bellfield and Lake Wartook- for fishing and canoeing enthusiasts
