Sale Motor Village is a particularly well positioned park by the Princess Highway (in town), with fully self contained cabins. Located with the information centre, set back from the road within walking distance to Sale shopping centre, hotels, restaurants, take-aways, sports facilities and the Port of Sale. Covered BBQs and playground.
Activities available in around Sale include: Boating, bowls, bush walking, croquet, fishing, golfing, greyhound and horse racing and sailing.
In the centre is the Sale Mall, and a pedestrian walkway with outdoor auditorium decorated with six bronze wall plaques and the Wall of Fame, designed by local artist, Annemieke Mein.
Sale, home of the famous RAAF Roulettes, has a history dating back to the Omeo gold rushes, was a flourishing inland port when steamers traded on the Gipsland Lakes.
Sale is an excellent base for trips from the mountains (Tarra Bulga National Park to the west) to the sea (Seaspray, Ninety Mile Beach, Loch Sport, to the south east). All of which makes Sale Motor Village your best stay in town!
