Albany Happy Days Caravan Park is situated on the banks of the King River with plenty of shade and delightful gardens, set on the outskirts of town in a quite rural area.
Albany surrounds one of the world's most beautiful harbours in the Princess Royal and offers stunning harbour views from Mt Melville and Mt Clarence. Between July and August these views are enhanced by the sight of dolphins and seals and, between July and October, humpback and Southern Right whales can be spotted frolicking in the waters.
Albany Happy Days Caravan Park has accommodation to suit most budget requirements. From Backpacker Vans to Large Chalet on Riverside with veranda overlooking the river and a private entertainment area, to something special - our Deluxe Chalet with Spa.
For Caravanners and Campers we offer spacious Powered and Unpowered Sites, some with Private Ensuite for that extra bit of luxury!
There is an abundance of bird life to enjoy, including a family of fire tails and blue wrens. We are just a short drive to a shopping centre and town centre, only 12km to Middleton Beach, Emu Point and a 1/2 hour drive to the Porongurup, Two People Bay and the Gap Bridge, 1 hour to the Stirling Ranges
Activities in our park:
- Join us for a barbeque undercover or enjoy your own personal wood fire.
- Catch "the one that got away" in the river (the fishing is excellent)
- Listen to the bird life as you paddle along the riverbank in one of our canoes.
- Perhaps you would prefer to sit in the gardens or under the gazebo with a good book?
- In the afternoon, go for a walk & say "hi" to our resident goats, and the many ducks that come up to visit.
- There is a garden chess set to keep the mind active, or a game of "Petanque" (bocce) on the lawn foreshore.
- A large games area at the top of the park includes volleyball and basketball setup, all sports equipment is supplied free together with a large selection of board games, cards and puzzles for use of guests.
- Finally, in the evening, you can sit back with a drink and watch the sun going down over the tranquil waters of the river and the beautiful trees to the West. Ahh...the perfect end to a perfect day!
