The Cervantes Pinnacles Caravan Park offers you perfect beachfront accommodation for visiting the Pinnacles (only a 15 minute drive).
The township of Cervantes is located 254 kilometres North of Perth and only 2 kilometres West of the entrance to the Nambung National Park, which is the home of the internationally famous Pinnacles formations.
Cervantes Pinnacles Caravan Park is the perfect base to explore the natural beauties of the Mid Coastal Region and outlying National Parks.
For the water enthusiast looking for a short or long term holiday, Cervantes has something for everyone. There’s no need for 4 wheel drives to launch your boat here – you can enjoy fishing from the beaches, Jetties, Groyne or offshore. Parents need not fear for the safety of the youngsters as the beaches extensive swimming areas have crystal clear waters and are naturally protected by inshore reefs. Enjoy the barbeque picnic facilities adjacent to the beach areas.
Windsurfing has become increasingly popular. So much so that the locals have taken advantage of the location water conditions at Cervantes, through the staging of the annual Slalom Windsurfing Carnival. Local, intrastate, interstate and international participants compete in this event held in early December.
Most sporting Enthusiasts are catered for with an 18 hole sand and greens golf course, two bowling greens, and 6 tennis courts (under lights). Indoor sports such as badminton, netball and basketball can be enjoyed at the modern community centre used for a variety of activities.
The Pinnacles Desert is approximately 19 kilometres south of Cervantes, and 3 Kilometres inland from the beach. It covers about 404 hectares and is 60 metres above sea level.

Thousands of Limestone pillars, up to four metres tall, rise out of the stark landscape of yellow sand. Some are jagged, sharp edged columns, rising to a point and others represent tombstones.
What are they? A visit to Cervantes the Nambung National Park is an important inclusion on any traveller’s itinerary to view these spectacular natural formations.
