The jewel of the Queenscliff Seafood Feast and Seafood Show is Charity Restaurant. Opening on Good Friday, April 2nd, 2010 for one week only, the end of the historical Queenscliff Pier will be transformed into a sophisticated restaurant.
Charity Restaurant will be a premier destination, combining exceptional ocean views, exciting seafood cuisine and is at the philanthropic forefront as Australia’s only restaurant over the ocean, established to benefit charities. Hosting a variety of philanthropic events, the grand dinning room will accommodate 300 guests for lunch and dinner daily.

Queenscliff Seafood Feast
The annual Queenscliff Seafood Feast is Australia’s biggest culinary celebration with the finest of seafood available, with all proceeds going to the Royal Children’s Hospital, Good Friday Appeal.
Held of Good Friday, the event is recognized by the seafood industry, the Federal, State and Local Government, as the largest and best seafood event in Australia and attracts thousands to the family friendly day in search for some tasty morsels and is held annually in historic Queenscliff.
Equivalent to 50 seafood restaurants setup in the beautiful Princess Park, over 500 skilled volunteers work together to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Australian Seafood Show
The Seafood Show is the only one of its kind in the world, over the ocean. On April 2nd and 3rd, the historical Queenscliff Pier will be transformed into a world-class exhibition showcasing recreational fishing equipment and technologies along with seafood products, marine safety and licensing.
Included is the Cellar Door, the perfect culinary pairing for the Seafood Show. A selection of Australian wine producers will be exhibiting with tasting and sales from the exhibition floor.
The exhibition extends and re-opens on April 6th and 7th for Industry Exhibitors from all over Australasia that will showcase every category of seafood products: fresh, processed, frozen, and value-added seafood services; storage, processing, manufacturing and handling equipment; a host of seafood-related services including freight-handling, insurance and information technology.

8th Australian 4x4 Gathering
Come and join us! The Mitsubishi 4WD Owners Club of Queensland is hosting
the 2010 Australian 4x4 Gathering which is an event held
every two years in various States and Territories around
Australia. It is the first time Queensland will host the event.
Who can attend?
Anyone interested in 4WDing can attend and you do not
have to be a member of a club. As it is being held on the
Sunshine Coast, we are expecting many 4WDers from the
southern States to attend for our warmer climate and
pristine environment. You will also be rubbing shoulders
with many from around Australia. It is a great opportunity to
meet and mix with those who have a similar 4WDing
interest.
Up to 400 families are expected to join us at Pomona which
is situated in the picturesque Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Tag along trips of varying duration will be conducted
through the neighbouring State Forests, the spectacular
local area and the unique heritage listed Fraser Island with
its rainforest and sparkling lagoons. The Gathering will be
based at the local showgrounds with evening entertainment
provided as well as some bush poetry to make you laugh.
Prizes, giveaways, checking out other vehicles are all part
of the Gathering. You are sure to have fun!

Proceeds will support the Royal Flying Doctor Service of
Australia and the VKS-737 Australian National 4WD Radio
Network. Come and support these two great organisations
and the lovely town of Pomona.
