Tyre wear

As a general rule, if tyres are wearing in the centre, they are over inflated for the load and if they are wearing on both sides they are under inflated. If they are wearing on one side then it is generally wheel alignment (mainly front wheels this one applys too)



Not knowing the tyres, 40psi sounds a bit high, I run 32 in my landcruiser and 34 tp 36 when loaded
