The Two Oaks Café and Gift Shop has to be seen to be believed! It is a handcrafted building made out of local farm rock and native timbers. The gift shop stocks locally made gifts for all occasions.
The licensed café provides a beautiful array of affordable tasty meals and is renowned locally for its coffee. There are regular acoustic music sessions held in the surrounding gardens and it is a favourite location for family gatherings and good times.
The café’s ambiance is calming and vibrant at the same time, there is a great warmth there which the staff generate and foster constantly. The food is light, fresh and filling, our food preparation staff are second to none…
The café has a lot of floor space both inside and out, which allows for both small parties and large groups to be catered for easily.
Two Oaks Cafe holds regular Friday night meal sessions complete with live music and, as it’s a licensed venue, many people use the evening as a nice way to end the week!
The gardens surrounding the café have some magnificently established trees such as a liquid amber, several large Bay trees, a big mulberry tree and chestnuts. The café garden is beautifully laid out and has a series of stone inlaid footpaths to lead visitors into all the nooks and crannys that exist here. There was once a small nursery operating from here as well and many of the features of that are still in place.
WEDDINGS and FUNCTIONS
The beautiful nature of the building and its encompassing gardens make this a perfect place for a wedding. There have been several weddings which have also used the surrounding gardens as the site for the ceremony itself.
The added advantage of large hall like rooms both on ground and first level ensures that any outside wedding can be easily moved inside if required. The whole building is beautifully accoustic which seems to limit the volume of noise without impacting its clarity!
MEETINGS
The first floor room is commonly used for a range of different styled private meetings. Because of the bright airey nature of the spacious room, meetings tend to be very productive and effective. The added aspect of onsite catering is also a great consideration when planning longer meetings.
Menus for all functions are decided through discusions with us to ensure all requirements are met.
The house band is available for all functions. The band plays accoustic music and has the capacity to prune its playing staff to allow for all sized functions to be enhanced by their performance
The café is open 10.00am - 4.00pm Tuesday to Sunday
Two Oaks Cafe is located on the site of the Somerset Beachside Cabin and Caravan Park, which offers Ensuite Cabins and Powered or Unpowered sites at very reasonable rates, so why not stay awhile and enjoy the ambiance?
