Hillbilly Camping Gear is a family owned and operated business which began in 1987 as a partnership between Mick Mills and Col Jamieson.
We have developed our range of products through practical experience for what we have been asked to bring to the market by a large number of campers just like you. Genuinely authentic Aussie cooking equipment and accessories with durability, versatility at an affordable price.
Hillbilly Camping Gear is ideal to use anywhere from the backyard to the bush.
Brazier When you cant (or don't want to) light a fire on the ground, then our brasier is for you. It consists of a solid steel pan and ash tray elevated on four sturdy legs supporting an extremely strong welded mesh cylinder big enough to contain a fire worth sitting by on those lovely bush evenings.
BushKing Camp Oven, 12.5 Litre Hillbilly Camp Ovens have earned a reputation as the best camp oven cooking system available. The BushKing 12.5 litre is manufactured from spun black steel, this camp oven is much tougher, harder wearing and easier to clean than cast iron alternatives.
The unique design makes the BushKing a most versatile fireside companion as camp oven, frypan and saucepan. To heat the camp oven you can choose to use campfire coals, heatbeads, dry sticks and the purpose designed Hillbilly KingCooker gas conversion when open fires are not an option.
Take a look at the range of accessories available (including baking trivet, vegie roasting ring, pot stand, gas conversion, carrybag and cookbook) and you will know it really is the most versatile camp oven system available. Check out our complete BushKing Kit packages on our website.
Butane Stove Hotplate with Folding Handle This little hotplate fits all portable butane stove tops and packs down flat to aproximately 15 mm thick.
Hotwater Service - 20 litre The simple yet ingenious Hillbilly campfire hot water service is a great way to provide all the hot water needs of the camp for dishwashing, showers and so on. Placed on the ground next to your campfire and filled with cold water, it takes little time to warm. As hot water is required simply pour cold water into the unit through the funnel on the lid, and the cold water is directed to the base of the tank displacing an equal volume of hot water from the outlet spout at the top of the unit. Your water stays free of ash, and the tank remains full at all times and is inherently stable.
Dingo Bush Kettle - 5 mug Using twigs, dry leaves or methylated spirits boil up to 1 litre (4 cups) of water in just minutes. Easy to use light and to carry, the Dingo Bush Kettle is packaged in a high density cardboard box for easy packing and transport.
