| | | | | | | Description Albert Park is located in the city of Port Phillip, approximately three km from the CBD of Melbourne. It is a 225 ha sporting and recreational park that caters for formal and informal recreation. Albert Park is the focus for many of Victoria's spectacular events and is also an important sanctuary for wildlife and vegetation.

Events at Albert Park
Albert Park is host venue to some of Melbourne's most spectacular cultural and sporting events:
- The Million Paws Walk is held in May;
- Fun Runs are held throughout the year;
- The Fosters Australian Grand Prix Carnival takes place in March;
- The Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation Walk for a Cure is held in October
