Narrandera is centrally located on the Murrumbidgee River in the heart of the NSW Riverina, at the junction of two National Highways, the Sturt and the Newell. Known for its tree-lined streets and parks and gardens, Narrandera is often referred to by travellers as an 'oasis'.
Lake Talbot Tourist Park is a quiet place to stay in Narrandera with the best views in town, and is located only 1.5 km from the main street.
Our park is set amongst shady trees and lawns and overlooks the lake and state forest, popular for water skiing, fishing and bush walking.
Whether you stay on a shady powered caravan site or in a brick air-conditioned cabin, you are assured of a quiet night away from the hassle and noise of the Newell Highway
Our Narrandera accommodation options include a range of very comfortable air conditioned cabins, most with views of the Lake, or spacious powered or unpowered sites, some of which are drive-thru. Large rigs are welcome.
Lake Talbot Tourist Park also has excellent facilities for the whole family, including 3 amenity blocks, camp kitchen and recreation room, together with BBQ areas and picnic tables. A courtesy bus to and from the clubs is available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.
Wide green lawns, shady trees, a children's playground, and free BBQs make the Narrandera Park a favoured picnic spot. Also within the park, is an Animal Enclosure and a Camellia and Rose Garden.
Next-door to the park is the fantastic outdoor Aquatic Park with 4 pools and 2 enormous water slides, open over summer October to March
