Coromal Appeals to hip pocket among Bendigo Leisurefest regional debute launches

Bendigos 13th annual Caravan Camping Leisurefest will host several major regional product debuts and a whole new sub-brand from a top national caravan maker.

Leisurefest runs from 21 to 23 November at Bendigo Racecourse.

Leading the list of debuts is one of the oldest names and one of the newest names in the business, along with the first of an all-new budget brand.

Coromal will launch its Appeal companion range, developed to bring traditional Coromal quality to budget-conscious buyers.

Available in three layouts, including a 21-footer with the option of twin or triple bunks, the Appeal range is priced under $50,000 drive-away.

Franklin Caravans has the first regional showing of its new X Factor, which combines the latest features with the strength and integrity synonymous with the Franklin since the 1950s.

The British-Australian developed OPUS camper trailer makes its regional show debut at Leisurefest, with its clever British-designed folding top and its tough Australian-engineered running gear.

CIA Vic chief executive officer Rob Lucas said it was pleasing to see so many products that had never been seen outside the capital city shows.

Regional debuts from such industry leaders as Franklin, OPUS Camper and Coromal serve to highlight how strongly established Leisurefest has become on the national show circuit, he said.

This year we have well over 250 new caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, off-road vehicles, campervans, pop-tops, tent trailers, fifth-wheelers, slide-ons and four-wheel-drives, plus accessories, camping gear and destinations.

In the course of its 13 years, Leisurefest has more than doubled the number of exhibits.

We also have free showbags for the kids with activity books, pencils and stickers featuring the new Caravanning Explorers Club characters and lets not forget, Bendigo Racecourse is the most beautiful show venue in Australia.

Continuing its support Leisurefest will donate $5,000 to a local charity, bringing the total to $65,000 so far.

Leisurefest is at Bendigo Racecourse, Epsom, from Friday to Sunday, 21-23 November, open 9.30 am to 5pm on the Friday and Saturday and 9.30 am to 4 pm on the Sunday.
