Mt Carbine Caravan Park is ideally located for travellers wanting to experience far North Queensland. Only 68km from Mareeba and 70km form Port Douglas and 135km from Cairns.

Mt Carbine Caravan Park is a former Mining Village and full of unique history. GPS: South 16 deg 31.53 East 145 deg 8.20

The park is surrounded by the Brooklyn station which is around 59,000 hectares and is in Iron bark country. It is owned by Australian Wildlife Conservancy which is a wildlife conservation park - in perpetuity.

The former wolframite (Tungsten) mine has re-opened and the over-burden is used as a quarry.

Between the caravan park and the hotel and roadhouse there is the manganese creek which is popular for swimming in the summer (Wet season).

Mt Carbine Caravan Park accommodation options include Self Contained Units, and Powered Sites at $22 with concrete pads or grass, or Unpowered Sites $16.

The Park offer separate Permanent Van Sites at weekly rates. Pets are welcome by arrangement with site bookings only.
