The Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) has won the 2007 South Coast Tourism Award (Regional Festival or Event category) for the South Coast Caravan, Camping & Holiday Expo which is held annually along the Clyde River at McKay Park in Batemans Bay.
The South Coast Tourism Awards were held on Wednesday, June 27 at Catalina Country Club in Batemans Bay. The South Coast Tourism Awards are the highlight event for the region which recognise excellence in contributing to tourism by South Coast tourism businesses and organisations.

South Coast Caravan, Camping and Holiday Expo is a three day event held annually in November. The event features over 150 exhibitors displaying caravans, motorhomes, camper-trailers, slide-ons, 5th wheelers, tents, camping and 4WD accessories, fishing equipment, boats, kayaks and motors, in addition to south coast caravan parks and holiday destinations. The event involves local community groups, clubs and businesses and supports the local economy.
The South Coast Caravan, Camping Holiday Expo is continuously growing and successful mainly due to the efforts of organisers and exhibitors each year to showcase the best of the south coast caravan and camping industry, Barry Baillie said.
Industry excellence was evident with 14 CCIA member holiday and tourist parks achieving finalist status at the South Coast Tourism Awards.
