Beacon Resort at Queenscliff will represent Victoria at the 2010 Australian Tourism Awards in Hobart, Tasmania this month.
The National 2009 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards are being held on Friday February 26, at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart. Hosted by the National Tourism Alliance (NTA) and presented by Qantas, Tourism Australia and Tourism Tasmania, the national awards are the industrys biggest and most prestigious event of the year.
Finalists from every state and territory will compete in 27 categories to receive one of these prestigious awards.
The RACV's Iverloch Resort will bat forVictoria too. Beacon will contest the Tourist and Caravan Parks award and Iverloch Resort Deluxe Accommodation.
Their National selection follows their success in the 25th 2009 Victorian Tourism Awards. Beacon Resort is a member of the BIG4 chain of holiday parks.
Brambuk the National Park and Cultural Centre at Halls Gap in Victoria's Grampians National Park will represent the state in Indigenous Tourism.
This year there were 100 entries in the Victorian awards.

The camp kitchen has hot water, fridge, microwave, stove, electric barbecue and bench space, this complements numerous barbeque and leisure areas onsite.
The 32 caravan sites, 12 with private ensuite facilities are all set in a natural environment and are individually serviced with town water and power. There are no permanent sites or caravan storage facilities available onsite.
