CTEK D250S Dual combines both alternator and solar charging says Battery World

The new CTEK D250S charger system is a complete solution to camping power anywhere anytime Battery World's Peter Fox of Battery World Morayfield Queensland says. The CTEK 250s can handle both input from solar panels and an alternator to maximise charge to the secondary battery. This also saves on the cost of a solar regulator which until now was a required purchase with solar panels.

"Typically in a Recreational Vehicle (RV) the CTEK D250S Dual is located between the start battery and the accessory battery, whether under bonnet in a four wheel drive or even mounted in a caravan or camper trailer", he says. "

The CTEK boosts the voltage from the alternator and applies a six stage charging process to achieve a 100 percent charged battery. All this and in a faster and more efficient method compared to regular dual battery systems," Peter Fox said.

The CTEK 250s has the capability to handle both input from your solar panels and your alternator to maximise charge to your secondary battery.

The solar regulator is also an MPPT (maximum power point tracking) to get the best efficiency from your solar panels.

This also saves on the cost of a solar regulator which until now was a required purchase with your solar panels, he said.

The CTEK D250S Dual is also temperature compensated to provide the right amount of charge in any temperate conditions, from Cape York to the Snowy Mountains.

Battery Worlds staff are now able to show in a simple whiteboard demonstration exactly how the power system connects and works. This shows exactly how the CTEK D250S Dual will benefit any dual battery system and how to configure other essential accessories to the system for best use in any Recreational Vehicle (RV).

Battery World has teamed up with Bainbridge Technologies to provide new in-store 'how to' educational tools that will help design and install an integrated power system into any 4wd, camper, caravan or motor home, he said.

Add a Baintech fuse block to the auxiliary battery to easily distribute accessories or loads without messy wiring joins or single fusing.

Keeping all the fuses in one location is not only neat but makes it very easy to find if a fuse blows, Peter Fox said.

Its great to know your system is being well charged but with the addition of a Baintech Volt Amp Meter we can view exactly what voltage the battery is at and also how much power (amps) we are currently consuming, he said.

When back at home or on a caravan park site a CTEK M300 charger keeps batteries charged and in peak condition when connected to mains power.

Combining this with the D250S Dual while driving keeps your batteries in peak condition resulting in longer battery cycles between charges and better battery life, he said.

From a 12 foot tinnie to 5th wheelers the team at Battery World will be able to customise a system to every requirement, he said.
