Lisa Rountree of Classic Events said today that the CBS Arena is an outstanding venue and will now provide the added benefit of having the new Westpac Business Hub erected directly adjacent.

The CBS Arena offers about 3000 car parks as well as a large area to host a rally, she said.

We reviewed many options for our South Island show, but felt Christchurch offered the best opportunity, coupled with a new upmarket venue, the population of the region and the drive locally and nationally to help Christchurch get back on its feet, Lisa Rountree said.

The Christchurch show is predominantly indoor, but offers wonderful options in terms of size, space and concourse areas for smaller site holders. There will be a small outdoor area available for site holders, she said.

With our new naming rights sponsor Camper Care, we look forward to another successful event, she said.

We will be introducing some of the new initiatives launched at the Hamilton show last month to Christchurch adding another dimension to the event. We also anticipate another media sponsor to be involved as well as providing many opportunities to attract visitors to the show, Lisa Rountree said.

CBS Canterbury Arena is one of New Zealand's largest purpose-built indoor sports and entertainment venues, only 10 minutes from Christchurch central city. Built in 1998 this versatile venue has hosted many international sporting events, artists, exhibitions and gala dinners.

On the subject of touring New Zealand in comfort in all-seasons one show exhibitor has some answers:

Iconic range puts luxury into all-seasons

Iconic Motorhomes covers the whole range of needs for travellers in all seasons. There are three luxury camper van class levels which meet the needs of the nervous first time motorhomer through to the highly experienced traveller.

The Iconic approach to extending service into highly practical areas includes many all-weather features to provide comfortable touring all year. This means there is no restriction on when to see New Zealand. Off peak camping, with the cost benefits which come with that approach is on the agenda. The Bolero camper van is eye-catching, automatic, easy to handle and luxury equipped for two.

The Voyager motorhome handles four and is popular with families or couples who enjoy the convenience of a permanent dining area. The Kontiki is the rock star ride for four with leather clad interior.

The 2010/11 automatic smooths out the travelling. The distinctive body shell sits on an AL-KO super-low line chassis, which ensures superior ride, comfort and road handling with its wider track and low centre of gravity.
