The first Border RV and Camping Expo at Wodonga Racecoursegot off to a strong start. The weatherwas remarkable. Sunshine gives any outdoor show a big lift and the Expowas on a weatherwinner for its first run. GoSee includes a series of pictures taken at the Wodonga Racecourse venue.
The Caravan industry did its bit for Ronald McDonald Family Room Wodonga when the Expo kicked off .
The Caravan Industry Association of Victoria (CIA) donated $5,000 to Wodongas Ronald McDonald Family Room on behalf of the inaugural Border RV Camping Expo.
The donation follows a tradition established by the CIA at its Bendigo Show for making a donation to local charities which now totals $50,000 donated to worthy causes over the years.
The Expo included caravans, camping, four-wheel-driving and off-road touring.
Pictured below: CIA President , Peter May complete with an impressive hat presented a $5,000 giant cheque to Maree Cables, who joined forces with Laurel Butler two years ago to establish a local Ronald McDonald Family Room.
Exhibitors included American imported caravans which give a fresh approach to space and comfort in the interesting designs at the Expo. Camperscould also try Gourmet meals at the Happy Campers stand near the course grandstand which come pre-packaged with a shelf life of at least 18 months.
