The Home, Leisure, Caravan, 4WD and Camping Show at Exhibition Park in Canberra from Fri 21 to Sun. Oct 23 continued the strong growth in interest in camping, caravan and RV travel throughout Australia. Last year exhibitors who have been part of the EPIC performance for seven years said the showgoers they met were 'quality'.
From an exhibitors point of view this is praise indeed. But what the comment underlines is the increase in caravan and camping show visitors who really know what they want.
This was particularly evident in the comments and questions which were being made and asked at the sites of the tent and camper trailer exhibitors.
Flat statements like - "that is too big for us", and "there is no way to keep the kids from falling from the top bunk," were noted. The 4WD area attracts families big-time and notably children.
Hartop addition to Complete Campsite EPIC Canberra
GoSee had many industry friends at the EPIC three-day session.
They included: Clearview Mirrors, Marlin Campers, Suncamper, Trailblazers RV, Ultimate RV's, Challenge Camper Trailers Sydney, Complete Campsite, Ozpig, The Camel Group, Jayco Motorhomes.
Clearview Towing Mirrors has some real practical kit for towing caravans, boats and big trailers. For towing and reversing the mirrors provide a clear view down both sides of a caravan. They lock in place when pulled out for towing and are completely free of vibration and stability hassles.
There is a second mirror below the flat main Clearview mirror to cover towing blind spots.
There are no additional straps, brackets, struts, suction cups and nothing to store away. The mirrors are secure and always part of the vehicle. GoSee fitted two Clearview mirrors to the company Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series TD Sahara GSA in about 40 minutes. The Clearview has spares backup and was designed and tested in Australia. They are straight bolt-on for the Nissan Patrol GU and the Toyota LandCruiser 100 and 200Series.
They operate off the Nissan and Toyota electricals and standard plug-ins and can be extend for towing and slid back for normal running. www.clearviewmirrors.com.au
For touring www.GoSeeAustralia.com.au and the www.GoSeeNewZealand.co.nz websites include a free Plan a Trip option on the left of the respective Home Pages. This GoSee service is a personal GPS for anyone on the road in Australia and New Zealand. Both sites list all the caravan and holiday parks in Australia and New Zealand, another free to user service.
