Hamilton Camper Care NZ Motorhome and Caravan Show grows as latest and best present Kiwi dream holiday options

New Zealands premier Motorhome and Caravan Show from March 1 to 3 at Claudelands Event Centre in Hamilton features a number of additions to its attractions.

We feel very fortunate to be able to utilise all the high class facilities that Claudelands Event Centre has to offer, and see the growth of the show as exciting for not only the industry, but providing so much more for visitors to see says Michele Connell, Managing Director of Classic Events.

Along with a huge variety of motorhome and caravan manufacturers, importers and dealers - manyof them using the show to unveil new product lines there will also be a wide array of all the latest in outdoor adventure accessories, she said.

With many New Zealanders looking to get back to a good old Kiwi holiday, the show will also see a new dedicated camping and tenting area, effectively creating another expo within the show, Michele said.

Among new products and initiatives on display is the Cedar Creek Cottage. This residential style trailer is designed for on site living at a favourite campground. It comes fully furnished, with a great choice of extras for personal customisation. It is a transportable apartment.

Another new addition will be the Show n Shine area, these campers and vans will not be for sale, but display a little something different that sets them apart from the rest.

The Leisure Line Kiwi Ingenuity Area has been created for those wanting to revamp and customise what they may already own it features DIY experts displaying products and services.The expanding show includes Claudelands Event Centre Area which adds another 2600 square metres of exhibition space. The new conference areas will also be used for many of the events accessory exhibitors.

The Leisure Line Kiwi Ingenuity Area is designed for those who want to revamp what they already have.

The Interislander Destination Court in Hall B offers information on the perfect region to visit, camping ground or event.

The free Trail-lite Seminar Series presents knowledgeable speakers on motorhome, camping and touring topics. Seminars start at 10am and run through until 3.15pm.

Topics include 'All you need to know about buying a new motorhome'. Mandy Davis from Trail-lite presents this knowledgable, well structured seminar. Mandy delivers a primer for people who want to know the questions which lead to a motorhome which meets their needs.

Belinda Mason , Gallivanting Oz, is an Australian based regular at the Trail-Lite seminars. Her 'Motorhome Travel in Australia' delivery takes listeners to her favorite places in the unique Australian experience. Belinda is an insider and she offers reality with her insights into camper hire and motorhome travel in the Big Island called Oz.

The ANZ takes the buzz words out of investment with their presentation which looks at how to handle having an income to support a lifestyle on the road.

The Inspiration in the Kitchen Cook Class at 11am and 1pm each day educates for 45 minutes on easy and nutritious meals for on the road.

Once again there are big prizes at Hamilton. Win $150,000 towards a motorhome of caravan. All entrants will also go into the second chance prize draw to win a Prize Pack worth $500.

There is an Aussie Getaway for seven days in a KEA Motorhome among the show prizes.

Outdoors, there will be even more grass area available, displaying the latest in motorhomes and caravans. This will be adjacent to approx. 4700 square metres of paved area, making it easy to get around and view all exhibits, with easy indoor/outdoor flow.

The NZMCA national body is again organising a national rally to coincide with the Show. No bookings are required, plenty of parking available.

Entrance into the Rally is via Gate 5, off Heaphy Terrace. Everyone is welcome, don't worry if you are not a member. Make the most of the popular liberty pass which allows unlimited access to the Show for the special price of $20 per person.

Tethered hot air balloon rides are available at the Hamilton Show from 10 am to 3pm each day weather permitting in the public carpark field via Gate 4. Cost is a gold coin donation.

Tickets for the Camper Care NZ Motorhome Caravan Show will be available from the gate each day from only $15, child 16 years and under - Free (if accompanied by an adult).

Liberty Pass - $20 (Liberty Pass gives the freedom to enter and re-enter, for the duration of the Show).
