Jayco has a wide range of its 2013 models on stand 112 Hall 1 through South Auckland Caravan Centre, including the Sterling caravan which features significant changes at Auckland's Covi SuperShow from today, September 20 to the 22nd.

More than 200 exhibitors, including leading brands like KEA, Motek, United, Trail-Liteare their latest models and product innovations.

Some of the advances to the flagship model of the Jayco caravan range in the 2013 Sterling are obvious such as the choice of two interior kitchen finishes. The new model Sterling offers the choice of two interior finishes, the Avikira kitchen features two tone overhead doors and the new Alpine White kitchen gives a more contemporary finish.

There are also smoother external lines and modern interior which includes luxury features like standard leather furniture, European style windows, LED TV and DVD player and a big three-way fridge.

Updates to the Sterling also include more cupboard space, furniture with radius corners and a fully equipped washing machine.

All Sterling models come with Jaycos durable Endurance Chassis which is galvanised for added protection, a

Beds lift up easily with the assistance of gas struts to provide ready access to large storage areas.

Jayco's cleverly designed curved shower frees up a lot of room in the bathroom. And the large basin, towel rails and full-length mirror provide home-like comfort and convenience. Through the Sterling range additional storage keeps everything in its place with a place for everything. The Sterling ensuite includes a washing machine. The show is really dynamic, entertaining and packed with information and has been designed to appeal to existing and would-be motorhome, caravan and camping enthusiasts, General Manager David Culpan said.

We work hard to learn from the previous year and hope each show is a step up from the previous effort. We really try to support the industry which is important and the Covi $10,000 cashback promotion is a popular prize open to anyone buying a motorhome, caravan or fifth wheeler at the show worth over $30,000.

Visitors again have the chance to win the Ultimate Road Trip, a 59 day MOTEK motorhoming adventure across America, Australia and New Zealand (flights and petrol vouchers included), worth $40,000.

The NZMCA rally organised in conjunction with the SuperShow is next door. This is being held at the neighbouring Alexandra Park Racecourse (Thursday to Sunday night inclusive), which last year accommodated more than 800 plus vans.

Open to the public and members of the New Zealand Motor Caravan Association*, the rally provides a great opportunity to meet others who also enjoy the motorhoming lifestyle. Please note: this year, rally goers do not have to register in advance.

Overnight parking at the rally is $14 per van per night for NZMCA members; $20 per van per night for non members/general public.
