Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow up 2,464 on last year at 52,273

2014 Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow over six days at Caulfield Racecourse was up 2,464 on last year at 52,273 . The Minister for Manufacturing, David Hodgett officially opened the Supershow at the media breakfast held on the first day of the show.

Exhibitors report excellent sales results CEO of the Caravan Industry Association Victoria, Rob Lucas says he was very happy with the show.

The 2014 Supershow was yet another great success and I am extremely proud of all of the exhibitors and people who helped make our 60th anniversary the biggest and best yet, he said.

It was especially pleasing to see many of the initiatives incorporated into our 60th Anniversary show and be so well received by consumers, also to hear that our exhibitors achieved such great results, Rob Lucas said.

Celebrating six decades of Supershows and the history of Australian caravanning was a key theme of this years show with the Vintage Van display demonstrating the incredible history of the Victorian Caravanning Industry.

The launch of the Kids Caravanning Explorers Club was a great success with many excited boys and girls thrilled to receive a complementary showbag, enter some fun competitions and to find out more about our characters Mitch the Motorhome, Tammy the Tent, Penny the Poptop and Corey the Caravan.

The regular Passport to Freedom competition was again popular and a number of prizes were handed out to some lucky winners. C.Caddy of Clifton Hill was the major prize winner, picking up a $10,000 CIA VIC voucher.
