The Northern Territory

Get out of your comfort zone and explore one of Australia’s last relatively untouched frontiers. Alice Springs is not only one of the largest cultural hubs in the NT, it’s the gateway and final major stop between you, the Red Centre desert and the capital Darwin, a mere 1500km away.

On your journey, you’ll find other natural beauties such as Kings Canyon and Uluru. Another thing you won’t find anywhere else in Australia are real outback pubs. Although their selection of frothies won’t be huge, they’ll always be cold and served with a side of exceptional outback hospitality.

When you head away from the major hubs of the NT, places to stay can be few and far between so it’s important to plan where you’ll be staying well ahead of time. Here’s a selection to get you thinking, or take a peek at the full list of places to stay.
