The Pinnacles in Western Australia at Sunset

Visit Western Australia

Western Australia is a seriously big place. Deadset, this state alone takes up one-third of Australia’s total land mass – which is almost Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria combined. You can close your jaw now.

What does this mean for you? Well the bigger the state, the more places to see and more things to do. Ever heard of the cute little Quokka? You’ll only find that endangered beauty on Rottnest Island off the coast of WA. If wining and dining is more your thing, the Margaret River region is best the best place to fill your belly with delicious food and wine. Want to do something that’ll make your mates real jealous? The Ningaloo Reef is one of the only places in the world to swim with whale sharks.

The one problem with all this? You’re going to need more than a few days to explore everything Western Australia has to offer, which isn’t really such a bad thing the way we see it…
